Paul Krugman
Columnist and Nobel Prize Winning Economist |
Dear NYABE Members and Friends,
It’s my pleasure to invite you to our upcoming NYABE luncheon with Paul Krugman, Columnist and Nobel Prize Winning Economist on September 18th at the Cornell Club of New York. According to Dr. Krugman’s website, he has at least three jobs: He is professor of economics and international affairs at Princeton University, Centenary Professor at the London School of Economics, and, perhaps, his best-known job, as an op-ed columnist for The New York Times. In recognition of his influence The Washington Monthly called him "the most important political columnist in America."
Always interesting and often controversial, Dr. Krugman has written on a wide variety of topics, including, The importance of the composition of GDP, and The dangers of direct marketing scams that exploit political partisanship.
Join us for a lively discussion on the on September 18, 2018 at the Cornell Club. We hope to see you!
**Please ensure your membership is current. If you’re unsure, please reach out to the NYABE Treasurer. We will collect the guest fees from non-current members at the luncheon. Let’s be sure we all continue to fully support this great institution! **
Alan Goldman, NYABE President, 2018-2019
